What drew me to this author and these characters, were I felt like I could relate to them, especially the heroine, in that we both had experience in neglect and abuse in our childhood and adulthood, and I was drawn to the angst. There was just too much information for me to digest, and I’m sure I’ve missed somethings. Now here I am at the end of December, finishing the story.this is where my rating comes from. Given that I don’t have much time anymore to sit and read books anymore, I had to wait for the audiobook, but I soon found out that I would have to wait more than a month to finish Raven and Maddoc’s story, but over a month turned into over two months, not to the fault of the author, but it killed my excitement for the book a little.
I was left on a cliffhanger that left so many things opened and difficult to answer, I even had the books release date marked in my calendar.
